About the Role
Support nursing staff in providing hands-on patient care as a Patient Care Tech Float.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to promote recovery
- Perform non-medicated care such as dressing changes and skin protection
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of patient areas and common spaces
- Manage supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team efficiency
- Communicate compassionately with patients, families, and the care team to ensure safety and quality
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 7 days of employment
- No prior experience required
