ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provides care to patients in a manner that promotes safety, comfort, and therapeutic environment.
• Affords assistance to patients with activities of daily living.
• Assists patients with behavioral problems and provides assistance in crisis intervention, as needed.
• Reports to work in a timely manner and adheres to policies, procedures, and processes.
• Performs other job duties as needed and/or as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Maintains patient confidentiality and assists with monitoring patients during education times.
• Effectively communicates in English via verbal and written means.

LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS

• BLS certification is required upon hire.
• De-escalation training is required within 30 days of hire.
