About the Role

Join the Progressive Care Renal/Tele Unit, where you’ll be part of a dedicated group of professionals focusing on renal and dialysis patients, telemetry monitoring, and specialized procedures. The unit provides advanced renal and dialysis care, including hemodialysis, continuous cycler peritoneal dialysis (CCPD), and continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD). This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and meaningful patient impact through strong interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians, dialysis specialists, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic nursing care and support tasks under the direction of the Director of Nursing, RN, or LPN.
• Provide patient care including ambulation, bathing, toileting, and obtaining vital signs while maintaining a safe environment.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills to accurately convey patient information to RN, LPN, and other team members in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate basic computer skills to accurately record vital patient information.

Requirements

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association (Required).
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification (Required).
• High School diploma or equivalent (Preferred).
• Hospital experience (Preferred).
