Patient Care Tech
About the role
Under supervision, performs routine non-professional and professional care; assisting patients in basic tasks such as using the restroom, getting dressed, discharging via wheelchair; keeping area cleaned & stocked; assisting nurses with basic nursing care.
Works in a fast-paced environment; communication, multi-tasking, & prioritizing skills needed.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Patient care tech program preferred
- At least six months prior related experience in assisting with care of patients
- Current American Heart Assn. BLS certificate Required
