Provides direct care to clinic patients under the supervision of the Clinical RN and direction of the Director. Assists the professional staff in their provision of care by preparing patients to be seen by the physician, assists patients with limited mobility, and performs specific procedures with appropriate orientation and supervision.
Responsibilities
Follows all Wound Care and affiliated hospital policies and procedures. Works alongside an award-winning team delivering some of the most advanced medical services in the region, including:
- Comprehensive heart and vascular care
- Advanced stroke treatment
- Cancer care in partnership with Keck Medicine of USC
- Women's imaging and breast health services
- Emergency and trauma care
- Cardiac rehabilitation and wellness programs
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Knowledge of third party reimbursement especially HMO/ PPO
- Ability to pass Medical Terminology exam
- Medical terminology preferred
- Basic knowledge of PC and mainframe computer operations
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Current Certified Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant
- Current BLS provider card
- Minimum High School graduate or equivalent
- Two years minimum in hospital or other health care setting such as a medical office or insurance billing

Pay
The pay range for this role is $23.00 to $27.85
