About the Role
As our Patient Care Technician (PCT) at Chandler Regional Medical Center, you will deliver essential direct patient care under the supervision of our clinical team. Leveraging your knowledge of basic patient care principles and medical terminology, you will perform a range of daily duties with a genuine passion for patient well-being, diligence in executing tasks, keen observational skills regarding patient conditions, and a proactive approach to continuous learning and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Assist the nurse/physician during examinations, treatments, and procedures as requested.
- Assist with patient admission, discharge, and transfer.
- Assist in patient/equipment preparation and retrieve necessary equipment and supplies.
- Document clinically relevant findings in the patient's record according to hospital protocols.
- Prepare patients for transportation to other departments/areas when STAT or as necessary.
- Actively assist patients with personal care, mobility, and feeding.
- Monitor vital signs and maintain a therapeutic and organized patient environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Emergency Medical Technician Basic (EMT-B).
- Previous military medic experience.
- Seeking a degree in nursing.
- Previous healthcare experience.

Pay
$19.49 - $27.52 per hour.
