Patient Care Tech

About the Role

The PCT RN Student IHA supports patient care by assisting with basic patient needs, monitoring, hygiene, and ensuring comprehensive care as part of the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, human-centered care and effective communication with patients, families, and team members.
• Assist with patient monitoring, hygiene, and basic care tasks.
• Participate in education sessions including CPR, skills training, and healthcare communication.

Requirements

• Actively enrolled in an accredited RN Nursing program with at least one semester completed.
• Minimum 12 college credit hours including English Composition with a passing grade; GPA of 2.0 or higher.
• Willing to work flexible hours.
• Good organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn healthcare skills, collaborate effectively, problem-solve, and proactively meet patient needs.
• Must be able to engage patients appropriately based on their wellness and cognition levels.

Qualifications

Healthcare or service industry experience is preferred but not required.
