About the Role
A Patient Care Technician (PCT) provides direct patient care under the supervision of the clinical team.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal care, mobility, and feeding
- Monitor vital signs and document observations
- Prepare patients for procedures or transport
- Support nursing staff during examinations and treatments
- Retrieve equipment and assist in patient preparation
- Document clinical findings
- Facilitate patient transport
Requirements
- Completion of a nursing assistant or EMT program, or the first block of a nursing program
- Certification in Arizona for EMT or CNA
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
