About the role
The Patient Care Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the patient care team, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to all policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Oversee patient care staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care processes.
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff.
- Handle emergencies and provide immediate patient care as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare management or patient care.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications
- Current certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Experience with healthcare software systems.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality protocols.
Skills
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
