About the role

The Patient Care Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the patient care team, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to all policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee patient care staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care processes.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for staff.
  • Handle emergencies and provide immediate patient care as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare management or patient care.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

  • Current certification in CPR and First Aid.
  • Experience with healthcare software systems.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality protocols.

Skills

  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
