About the role

The Patient Care Specialist assists in providing patient care activities for which they have been prepared and in accordance with Medical Center policy and procedures. They function under the supervision and guidance of a Registered Nurse.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a medical assisting program or equivalent
• Current CPR certification

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
