About The Role

We're looking for a friendly, detail‑oriented Patient Care Specialist (PCS) to be the first point of contact for our East Point clinic. You’ll greet patients, support front‑office operations, and help ensure every visit runs smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a fast‑paced clinic, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

A Day in the Life

• Welcome patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism
• Check patients in and out, verify insurance, and collect co‑pays
• Schedule appointments and update patient information in the EMR
• Make daily outreach calls for appointment reminders
• Answer multi‑line phones and follow urgent/emergent protocols
• Support medical records requests and general office tasks
• Help resolve patient concerns and ensure a positive experience
• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
• Participate in team huddles and clinic meetings

What You Bring

• 2+ years of customer service or medical office experience
• Strong communication and people skills
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced clinic environment
• Comfortable with multi‑line phones and EMR systems
• Athena experience preferred
• High attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred

Schedule

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00am–5:00pm
Tuesday: 9:30am–6:30pm

Pay & Benefits

• Pay: $25/hr (compensation range $19.00–$28.50, actual depends on experience, skills, and qualifications)
