Patient Care Specialist II

How Will You Make An Impact & Requirements

• Greet and welcome patients and visitors
• Check patients in and out
• Verify insurance and collect co-pays
• Schedule appointments and update patient information
• Make daily outreach calls for appointment reminders
• Answer multi-line phones and follow urgent/emergent protocols
• Handle medical records requests and general office tasks
• Provide excellent customer service and help resolve patient concerns
• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
• Participate in team huddles and meetings

Experience Required

• 2+ years of customer service or medical office experience

• Strong communication and people skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinic
• Comfortable with multi-line phones and EMR systems
• Athena experience preferred
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred
