Job Summary

Patient Care Representatives are responsible for creating a welcoming and efficient environment for patients, ensuring smooth check-ins, and managing administrative tasks.

Essential Job Functions

  • Greet and direct all patients, visitors, and staff upon entry.
  • Maintain the reception areas and assist as needed.
  • Verify and assist with patient questionnaires and forms.
  • Print daily schedules and handle walk-in patients.
  • Disseminate information via phone and computer systems.
  • Update next-day charts and complete appointment confirmations.
  • Collect payments and fill out reports as required.

Competencies

  • Demonstrated knowledge of materials, methods, instruments, and equipment.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products.
  • Prior experience in a customer service role.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and respond positively to patient inquiries.
  • Associate’s degree preferred.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position located in Sarasota, FL. Hours are Monday through Friday, with occasional travel to other locations.
