Job Summary
Patient Care Representatives are responsible for creating a welcoming and efficient environment for patients, ensuring smooth check-ins, and managing administrative tasks.
Essential Job Functions
- Greet and direct all patients, visitors, and staff upon entry.
- Maintain the reception areas and provide assistance as needed.
- Verify and assist with patient questionnaires and forms.
- Print daily schedules and disseminate information via phone and computer systems.
- Handle walk-in patients, scheduling inquiries, and prescription/record pickup.
- Maintain an orderly workspace and complete appointment confirmations.
- Collect payments and fill out reports as required.
Competencies
- Demonstrated knowledge of materials, methods, instruments, and equipment.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
- Positive attitude and ability to handle pressure.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Prior experience in a customer service role.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond positively to patient requests.
- Associate’s degree preferred.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time position located in Sarasota, FL. Days and hours are Tuesday-Friday. Travel to other locations as necessary.
