About the role
This role is for a Patient Care Partner at NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Hospital, working evenings from 3:00pm - 11:15am. The position includes rotating weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to patients and families
- Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and vital signs monitoring
- Collaborate with nurses and nursing assistants to enhance patient care
- Ensure patient safety and comfort
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
Requirements
- Minimum of one year experience in psychiatry or related field
- High School Diploma
- Successful completion of approved Patient Care Tech Program or a Phlebotomy Certification and EKG Certification or demonstrated experience in performing electrocardiograms
- One year experience as a Nursing Assistant
- BLS Certification
