Responsibilities
- Work with Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, Telemetry Technicians, PT, OT
- EKG interpretation
- IV medication titration
- Critical thinking, delegating, time management
Requirements
- High School Diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
- Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Registered in good standing as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) with the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Nurse Aide Registry (optional after employment).
- 1 year of experience as a Patient Care Nursing Assistant in a hospital.
Qualifications
- Passage of a high school equivalency exam if a High School Diploma is not held.
- Experience as a Patient Care Nursing Assistant in a hospital for at least one year.
