Patient Care Director

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily clinical operations of our pre-op, intra-op, and post-op teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality and compassionate patient care to an increasingly diverse patient population.
  • Engage, mentor, supervise and evaluate the team to reach their full potential and inspire continued professional growth.
  • Develop and manage budgets, resource allocation and scheduling.
  • Regularly assess unit operations and identify process improvements to enhance the patient experience.
  • Excel as a change agent, advancing initiatives focused on enhancing quality and performance throughout the unit.
  • Partner with our senior leaders who encourage and support continuous growth in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Nursing or related field if already holds a BSN degree. If currently pursuing a Master’s Degree, must obtain within 1 year of hire.
  • Either bachelors or graduate degree must be in nursing.
  • Current NYS RN licensure (or willingness to obtain NYS licensure).
  • 3 years clinical experience.
  • BCLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association.

Qualifications

  • Leadership experience.
  • Previous acute care experience in Perioperative Services.

Skills

  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Experience with budget management and resource allocation.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards.

Pay

$170,000 - $217,000/Annual
