About the role
Downtown Physical Therapy is a PT-owned private practice in Boston, MA, part of Fusion Physical Therapy Partners. We are looking for a Front Office Manager to support our clinic's administrative operations.
Responsibilities
- Answer and route incoming calls to appropriate staff efficiently and professionally
- Schedule appointments, verify insurance, obtain authorizations, and support patient registration workflows
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure information is up-to-date in the EMR system
- Cookordinate with therapists to optimize scheduling and daily flow of appointments
- Process payments and manage insurance-related inquiries with confidentiality
- Manage multiple administrative responsibilities with strong time management and attention to detail
Requirements
- Adaptable, professional, dependable, and eager to grow your career in a growing healthcare organization
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Highly organized and skilled in managing multiple tasks and changing priorities
- Patient-first and customer-service oriented
- Proficiency with EMR scheduling software
- Two years experience as a medical office professional. Physical Therapy setting a plus!
