About the role

The PCA BMT position is responsible for providing direct patient care to patients undergoing bone marrow transplant procedures. This includes administering medications, monitoring vital signs, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring patient comfort.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as per physician’s orders
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Assist with daily living activities and hygiene needs
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current certification as a Patient Care Assistant (PCA)
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Passing score on a background check
• Basic computer literacy

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay

The pay rate for this position is $18.00 per hour.
