About the role

We provide a paid, comprehensive training program for Patient Care Associates (PCAs). This healthcare career is designed with you in mind, offering an opportunity to start in patient care without prior experience or certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities designed to maintain personal hygiene such as bathing, grooming, and skin care.
• Assist patients with ambulation, transfers, and turns.
• Ensure a clean and orderly patient environment to promote safety and infection prevention.
• Notify clinical staff of any changes in a patient’s condition or safety concerns.
• Apply infection control concepts and techniques.
• Monitor, record, and effectively communicate the patient’s condition, activities, behaviors, and safety concerns using computerized documentation systems and other means as appropriate.
• Take vital signs and perform phlebotomy (blood draws) and glucose checks.

Qualifications

No experience or certifications required. We provide a paid, comprehensive in-classroom and on-the-job training program.
