About the Role

Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, the Patient Care Associate provides direct patient care within the scope of practice and based on HMNH’s policies and procedures.

Here, you'll deliver some of the most advanced medical services in the region, including:

  • Comprehensive heart and vascular care
  • Advanced stroke treatment
  • Cancer care in partnership with Keck Medicine of USC
  • Women's imaging and breast health services
  • Emergency and trauma care
  • Cardiac rehabilitation and wellness programs

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse
  • Follow HMNH’s policies and procedures within the scope of practice

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Patient-focused approach

Qualifications

  • High School graduate, GED, or equivalent
  • Successful completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant program OR successful completion of at least the first semester of an RN program
  • Current BLS provider card
  • Minimum 6 months of acute hospital Nursing Assistant experience preferred

Pay

Opening pay range: $23.00 to $30.51 per hour.
