Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, the Patient Care Associate provides direct patient care within the scope of practice and based on HMNH’s policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

As a key part of our team, you will be working alongside an award-winning team delivering some of the most advanced medical services in the region, including:

• Comprehensive heart and vascular care
• Advanced stroke treatment
• Cancer care in partnership with Keck Medicine of USC
• Women's imaging and breast health services
• Emergency and trauma care
• Cardiac rehabilitation and wellness programs

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Problem solving skills
• Basic computer skills
• Patient-focused

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• Successful completion of a state approved Nursing Assistant program OR has successfully completed at least the first semester of a RN program
• Current BLS provider card
• Current hospital recognized Violence Prevention Training Card (obtain within 6 months)
• High School Graduate, GED or equivalent
• Minimum one (1) year acute care hospital Nursing Assistant experience required

Pay

The pay range for this role is $23.00 to $30.51.
