Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a casual, as needed Patient Care Assistant to work in the Virtual Integrated Care Department. The Patient Care Assistant works in a supporting role to nursing by conducting patient care activities.

• Provides direct and indirect non-professional nursing care under nursing or medical supervision.
• Primarily performs duties including but not limited to:
• Conducting patient care activities
• Cleaning
• Taking vital signs
• Obtaining lab specimens
• Charting
• Escorting patients
• Assisting with activities of daily living
• Managing clerical duties
• Ordering and receiving supplies

To be considered, candidates must provide documentation of an 80% or higher score on the Medical Terminology exam.

This is not a remote/work from home position.
