Patient Care Assistant PCA- Tele CNA
About the role
Department: Tele Med/Surg. Facility: St. Francis Hospital. Location: 355 Ridge Ave, Evanston, Illinois 60202.
Responsibilities
The Patient Care Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to all patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), State approved Certification required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire (preferred).
- Current EKG certification upon hire (preferred).
- Current BLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
- Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office (preferred).

Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $18.00 to $26.68. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of hire based on skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
Schedule
Full time days; 3‑12 hour shifts (7a‑7p); rotating holidays.
