Patient Care Assistant (PCA) I

About the role

We are seeking passionate, patient-centric, and goal-oriented team members to join our Inpatient Department in Avondale, Arizona. We provide compassionate behavioral health services including crisis stabilization, inpatient care, and outpatient treatment for acute mental health and substance use treatment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the nursing staff to ensure the therapeutic milieu is maintained.
• Safeguard the dignity and respect of our patients and guests.
• Supervise and maintain patient safety.
• Ensure the schedule/program is delivered consistently.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma.
• Driver’s License with a favorable Motor Vehicle Report.
• CPR and CPI Certification within 30 days of employment.
• Previous direct patient care experience with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred.
