Patient Care Assistant – Medical Departments – Part Time

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support patient care in various hospital departments across the region. Responsibilities include assisting staff with delegated tasks related to direct and indirect patient care, under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role involves working in diverse units such as Medical Surgical, Telemetry, Neuro/Peds/Trauma, and Float pool, providing care to a wide range of patient populations. Qualifications include being at least 18 years old, with either 12 college credits or a high school diploma/GED plus successful completion of a Nursing Assistant training or equivalent. Must maintain current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross; if not, it will be provided during orientation. Ability to adapt to unpredictable patient care situations is essential. Key duties involve assisting with patient needs, supporting nursing staff, and working in a team-oriented environment. Additional details include part-time scheduling with rotating shifts, every other or third weekend work, and holiday coverage.
