Patient Care Assistant - Intensive Care Unit

Role: Patient Care Assistant (PCA) supporting nursing staff by performing delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision. Responsibilities: Assist with patient care activities within legal limits for unlicensed personnel, ensuring patient needs are met and care is supported. Qualifications: Must be 18+ years old; preferred completion of 12 college credits or a high school diploma/GED with Nursing Assistant training. Ability to adapt to unpredictable patient care situations. Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required; if not possessed, BLS will be provided during orientation. Additional details: This is a part-time, non-exempt role with a pay rate of $20.00 - $27.33/hour. Work involves 12-hour shifts with day/night rotations, including every 3rd weekend and 2 holidays per year.
