About the role

The Patient Care Assistant will provide direct patient care in the Hematology/Oncology unit, assisting patients with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal hygiene and grooming needs
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by medical staff
• Ensure patient rooms are clean and organized
• Support patients and families through emotional and informational support

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
