About the Role

This Patient Care Assistant role supports the Hematology/Oncology department at Cincinnati Children's Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with direct patient care activities under supervision.

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred, especially with pediatric or hematology/oncology patients.
• Ability to lift and move patients and equipment (up to 50 lbs) with proper body mechanics.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
