Patient Care Assistant

Primary Position Responsibilities

• Assistance with total patient care under the direction of the RN
• Promotes Patient Safety
• Promotes and supports an organized work environment
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum Years of Experience: One year acute care nursing assistant experience
• License, Registry or Certification: State Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification OR non-certified nursing assistant with acute care hospital experience required
• CPR certification is required
• Crisis Prevention (CPI) training is required, and must be renewed annually
