Patient Care Assistant

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a full-time Patient Care Assistant to work in the 2 North West Neurosurgery Department. The Patient Care Assistant works in a supporting role to nursing by conducting patient care activities. Primarily, this includes but is not limited to:

• Performing duties such as cleaning, taking vital signs, obtaining lab specimens, charting, escorting patients, assisting with activities of daily living, managing clerical duties, and ordering and receiving supplies.

To be considered, candidates must provide documentation of an 80% or higher score on the Medical Terminology exam.
