Patient Care Administrative Nurse Supervisor (RN) - Per Diem

Job Summary

The Patient Care Administrative Nurse Supervisor is an experienced Registered Nurse responsible for supervising and monitoring the Nursing department(s) on an assigned shift. This position ensures the appropriate delivery of direct and indirect patient care via the utilization of the Nursing Process and creates a positive environment for the professional practice of nursing. Additionally, this position ensures activities foster continuous quality improvement to enhance patient care outcomes and patient flow throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required
• 3 years of acute care charge or supervisory experience required
• Progressive leadership experience
• Active Registered Nurse license from the State of Connecticut required
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) provider credentialed form the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) provider credentialed form the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred
