Patient Benefits Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits prior to treatment.
• Review and validate insurance cards and patient demographic information.
• Confirm insurance policies are active and effective for dates of service.
• Research and resolve insurance eligibility discrepancies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in healthcare insurance verification, benefits investigation, prior authorization, patient access, or revenue cycle operations.
• Strong understanding of eligibility verification and authorization processes.
• Experience working in a healthcare, medical office, oncology, specialty pharmacy, or hospital environment preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Schedule and Location

This is a fully onsite, contract position based in Dallas, TX, with a stable first-shift schedule.
