Key Responsibilities
- Handle phone calls from patients, physician offices, and hospitals
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently
- Greet and check in patients, verifying personal and insurance information
- Collect and process payments, co-pays, and insurance documentation
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with privacy regulations
- Cookordinate with medical staff to facilitate smooth daily operations
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Additional healthcare or administrative training preferred
- Previous experience in a medical office or front desk role is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic office software
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- A positive attitude and a customer service-oriented mindset
