Responsibilities

  • Welcoming patients and families, providing clear and compassionate guidance
  • Processing patient admissions, verifying insurance information, and ensuring accurate documentation
  • Managing patient information and coordinating with healthcare providers
  • Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and policies
  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
  • Assisting with administrative tasks related to patient registration and discharge

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration upon hire
  • National Certification of CHAA
  • 3 years Experience in Patient Access or Business office setting
  • Experience with insurance eligibility systems
  • 3 years Utilization of medical terminology in job setting
  • Knowledge in medical billing codes
  • 1 year Knowledge of Epic applications

Qualifications

  • Preferred Qualifications: Associate's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration upon hire

  • 3 years Experience in Patient Access or Business office setting
  • Experience with insurance eligibility systems
  • 3 years Utilization of medical terminology in job setting
  • Knowledge in medical billing codes

Pay

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Schedule

Part-time/Night Shift - Monday, Tuesday, Friday with every other Saturday and Sunday from 10pm-6:30am
