- Working with data
- ICD-10 and CPT coding
- Processing billing data electronically
- Checking KanCare and commercial insurance eligibility
- Auditing for accuracy
- Reconciling payments
- Registration of new consumers
- Credentialing
- Other tasks performed in Patient Accounts
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school education
- Healthcare billing in an electronic medical record experience of at least three (3) years
- Preference of experience in Excel
- Some college with accounting or related courses
