Patient Account Representative @ Revenue Cycle Specialists, Inc. - Grand Island, NE

About the role

Revenue Cycle Specialists, Inc. is a sister company of Credit Management Services, Inc. We specialize in helping patients and healthcare providers navigate the financial side of healthcare with clarity, respect and professionalism. We are seeking a Patient Account Representative who is comfortable communicating by phone, resolving account issues, and helping patients understand their balances and available payment options. This is an on‑site office position in Grand Island, NE. The role involves sitting at a desk, using a computer and phone system, and reviewing electronic account information throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Contact patients regarding outstanding account balances
• Explain insurance payments and patient responsibility in a clear, professional manner
• Assist patients in setting up payment arrangements and identifying resolution options
• Update account records with detailed notes and call outcomes
• Work collaboratively to resolve billing and account inquiries

Schedule

Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay

Up to $20/hour, based on experience

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Customer service experience preferred
• Medical billing, patient accounts, or healthcare experience is a plus
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
• Comfortable working in a phone‑based, computer‑driven role
• Spanish bilingual skills preferred but not required
