About the role

The primary responsibility is to review, research and follow through all insurance denials from assigned WQ or assigned by department administrator.

PAR is responsible for navigating payer portals, learning claim adjudication rules and reimbursement policies that result in services rendered being fully reimbursed per contract and payer guidelines.

Skills, Proficiencies, And/or Knowledge

• Knowledge of payor resources
• Knowledge of payor portal
• Claim issues
• ICD-10 and CPT coding knowledge
• Technical training in the medical billing/collections field

Preferred Qualifications

• Vocational/Technical Insurance/billing collections experience in a medical setting

Pay

The appointment length is Regular Continuous/Until Further Notice and the range is $18.60 - $21.00 hourly.

Schedule

The work schedule is typically Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
