Job Summary: Reporting to the Patient Accounts Team Lead, the Patient Account Representative is responsible for resolving inbound patient inquiries related to billing in a multi-channel Contact Center Environment. Expected Pay Range: $20 - 22/hour Key Responsibilities: Monitor multi-channel inbound patient billing inquires to ensure timely response and accurate resolutionsWork with patients and insurance carriers to resolve patient billing inquiriesResponsible for maintaining individual and departmental goals includingAverage Handle Time, Service Level, Abandonment Rate, Call Quality, and othersMaintain confidentiality of all patient information with a full understanding of HIPAA requirementsDemonstrates flexibility to meet the needs of all internal and external customers including changes to workflows, work volume and work schedulesOther duties as assigned Qualifications: 2-4 years in a healthcare environment required, preferably in billing, front office administration or call centerAbility to read and understand insurance EOBsMust possess strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to multi-task while maintaining the highest-level of quality in every patient interactionHigh School diploma or GED required Working Conditions: Standard office environment with occasional travel to corporate or office locations.Potential exposure to stressful situations and emergency scenarios.
