Patient Access Svcs Coord - Behav Health

Full-time position at Behavioral Health Hernando in Brooksville, FL. Hours vary.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative direction and facilitates the functions and daily activities of the behavioral health front office for the assigned service center.
• Ensures compliance with administrative and program-specific policies and procedures.
• Trains administrative support staff and other assigned team members.
• Generates required and special interest reports, tracks required data and information.
• Travel may be required between service locations or other facilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years in a supervisory role.
• 6 months of insurance-related experience.
• 6 months of Medicaid-related experience.
• 6 months of Medicare-related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years of behavioral health experience.
• 3 years of patient accounts experience.
• Associate’s degree in a related field.
