What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Aid patients with insurance verification
• Capture and verify demographics and benefits eligibility
• Schedule clinical services accurately, confirming patient details and available times
• Maintain a professional relationship with patients, providing support with financial responsibilities
• Input patient and insurance data accurately into appropriate systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA guidelines
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet registration goals and minimize errors in scheduling and billing

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• A High School Diploma or GED
• An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Financial, or Healthcare fields preferred
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in patient access, financial services, or healthcare-related roles
• Proficiency in medical terminology and insurance protocols
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• 2-3 years of experience in patient access or healthcare-related roles
• Knowledge of hospital billing requirements and documentation processes
• Familiarity with Protected Health Information (PHI) and HIPAA
• Bilingual skills are a plus
