About the role

We are seeking an entry-level Patient Access Specialist responsible for admitting patients, verifying insurance, collecting demographic and financial information, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role involves providing excellent customer service, including explaining consent forms and patient education documents, and supporting point-of-service collections to facilitate accurate billing and a smooth patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-registration and assign Medical Record Numbers (MRNs)
• Process physician orders
• Operate call systems
• Conduct account audits
• Verify insurance and screen for medical necessity

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ year of customer service experience
• CRCR certification within six months (company-paid)
