About the role
The Patient Access Specialist manages front-end revenue cycle and clinic functions to enhance the patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Collect and verify demographic, financial, and clinical information
- Secure insurance details and obtain necessary authorizations and referrals
- Notify patients of financial liabilities
- Serve as a team resource and lead in adherence to policies
- Recommend process improvements
- Handle technical inquiries independently
- Promote a compassionate, welcoming environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of accounting principles
