About the Role

The Patient Access Specialist will be responsible for ensuring patient records are accurately entered into the Epic charting system. This includes verifying patient information, updating medical records, and assisting with insurance verification.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient information and update medical records accurately
• Assist with insurance verification and processing claims
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Communicate with patients regarding their healthcare needs and insurance coverage

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
• Strong computer skills, particularly with Epic charting system
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR certification

• Proficiency in Epic charting system
• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
