Responsibilities

• Performs registration and pre-registration functions for in-patients, out-patients, and emergency department patients.
• Ensures integrity of financial data gathered, customer satisfaction, and supports quality patient care.
• Collects monies due.
• Verifies insurance.
• Performs financial screening to support positive collections and optimal reimbursement.
• Enhances the hospital's public image by direct efforts towards increasing patient satisfaction.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• CHAA or CHAM preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology strongly preferred.
