Patient Access Scheduling Coordinator Infusion

Job Summary

As a Patient Access Scheduling Specialty Coordinator (PASCI) at Moffitt Cancer Center, you must adhere to all performance metrics and training requirements. You will demonstrate a working knowledge of scheduling and registration for outpatient services including Surgery, Blood and Bone Marrow, Integrated Clinical Services, Diagnostics, Labs, Behavioral Health, Virtual Health, Research, and Infusion. You must be comfortable with medical terminology, problem-solving, and thrive in an environment with many competing priorities and demands.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a working knowledge of scheduling and registration for outpatient services.
• Work collaboratively to cross-cover all functions of Patient Access.
• Set up, organize, and maintain record systems.
• Provide customer service, multi-task, and maintain patience and composure in stressful situations.
• Show strong critical thinking abilities such as problem-solving and provide timely solutions.
• Complete 2-day infusion training and meet all necessary production and quality requirements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Associate's Degree preferred in a related field
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
• Customer service, computer, and typing skills
• Ability to communicate and interact with individuals from varying backgrounds
• Strong attention to detail while being able to multi-task and maintain patience and composure in stressful situations
• Possess strong critical thinking abilities such as problem-solving, root cause analysis, and provide timely solutions
