Patient Access Representative PRN - Angels Clinic Float Pool

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently registers patients in Epic
• Maintains and manages the flow of patients through the clinic
• Monitors and reviews patient accounts to determine financial responsibility
• Arranges payment plans and assists patients with accessing government and community resources
• Facilitates referrals to other providers and services in accordance with payor requirements
• Accurately updates patient records as needed
• Enters and updates charges as necessary
• Supports clinic and hospital initiatives to improve operations
• Manages cash in accordance with established policies
• Meets site collection goals
• Supports performance excellence initiatives
• Improves patient outcomes and satisfaction scores
• Trains and orientates other team members when assigned

Qualifications

• 6 months relevant experience in medical office, hospital setting, or insurance office
• Bachelor's degree may substitute for required experience
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Professional demeanor, excellent customer service skills, ability to multi-task, critical thinking, demonstrated computer literacy, and proficiency in Epic
