Patient Access Representative (Part-Time) - Float Pool
Key Responsibilities
- Provides excellent customer service completing the registration process for patients.
- Confirms patient demographic information, verification of benefits, scheduling and coordinating post discharge care for patients, collection of copays or payments, balancing of accounts, and general data entry.
- Pregpreregister, register, schedule, reschedule, and discharge patients according to the defined guidelines.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification: BLS through American Heart Association or American Red Cross AZ DPS Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a customer service position and/or office setting
Work Requirements
- Able to reach above and below shoulder level, lift, bend, kneel, squat, stand, walk, and sit for the full scheduled shift;
- Able to use business office equipment/computer.
- Routine exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
