Patient Access Representative II, Rehab Contact Center

About the role

Southbank Plaza is hiring a Full-Time Days Patient Access Representative II to join our Rehab Contact Center team. This role primarily involves scheduling appointments within the Baptist Health System. You will handle approximately 75-80 patient calls daily, completing registration, insurance verification, providing estimates, and collecting patient payments. You will also work patient work queues and make outbound calls to patients. A monthly scorecard will track call wrap-up time and call quality.

Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately and efficiently
• Utilize multiple systems and interfaces
• Cross-train to work in multiple Imaging Service Lines
• Maintain service excellence for telephonic patient encounters
• Contribute to PAS Goals (collections, productivity, quality, and call metric objectives)
• Demonstrate strong understanding of State and Federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO
• Maintain professional relationships with clinical and non-clinical team members
• Articulate compliance documentation and ensure completion of required patient consent forms
• Maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines

Requirements

• High school diploma or higher (required)
• Call center and scheduling experience

Schedule

• Full-Time, Monday - Friday
• 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
