Responsibilities

• Assist patients with registration, insurance verification, and payment collection.
• Provide self-screening and scheduling services.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow.
• Train and assist new caregivers in various patient access roles.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of experience in a customer-facing role.
• Basic PC software application knowledge.
• Ability to work in an emergency department setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree with one year of experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree with relevant coursework or experience.
• Completion of medical terminology courses within one year.

Skills

• Medical terminology knowledge.
• Customer service skills.
• Basic PC software proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

Minimum hourly rate: $15.75
Maximum hourly rate: $21.65

Schedule

Part-time shifts: 10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Weekend and holiday requirements.

Training

EPIC training on-site Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:30 pm for the first 2 weeks.
